West Jackson District Superintendent
Willis is a native of Natchez, Mississippi, as is his wife Brenda. They have two children, Keith and Amy. They are the proud grandparents of Gabriella.
He is a graduate of Natchez High School, Millsaps College, Candler School of Theology, and Trinity Seminary. Presently, Willis is an adjunct faculty member of the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies.
Before being appointed to the West Jackson District, he served churches in Yazoo County, Redwood, Vicksburg, Columbia, Bay St. Louis, Forest, Picayune, Rankin County, Hattiesburg, and Jackson. As a result of these experiences, he believes that the ways to make disciples of Jesus Christ and grow the Church are through biblical preaching, visionary pastoral leadership, the equipping of the laity for ministry, a permission-giving church environment, ministry teams, and the continuous creation of new wineskins.
Willis and Brenda enjoy time with family, travel-study, walking, and reading. They are passionate about baseball, especially the New York Yankees.
